.308 WIN vs. .308 Palma

I'm trying to decide which chamber to use in my new project. I am trying to build a F-class gun to replace my .223 REM I attempted to use out to 1000 yards. What are the differances between the two, also there pros and cons? I was thinking of using 155gr or the 155.5gr bullets in a 13 twist barrel 30" long.

In order to load the 155.5 Berger and the new (gen 4, 2156) Sierra to 2.800, giving .020 jump, requires a no freebore reamer with the Berger and .045 freebore @.3083 with a 2* leade angle for the Sierra. with 1.5* on the Berger, there is .060 difference.

The Sierra BC is ever so slightly better than the Berger. Not enough to matter.

I developed these two reamers last fall.
I'm sure over time, both will vary from what you see now. same as in the past. Dies wear, cost money and folks get lazy, greedy, tired, etc., etc.
