.308 Win Brass; ADG vs Lapua for F-TR

I have been using Lapua for the short time I have been competing. Have had very good performance and longevity (24 Firings on one set) with the exception of the last batch which I only got 4 firings.

Was reading several threads on the ADG brass here and on the Long Range Only forum. I haven't seen much on it and was wondering how good it is compared to Lapua for competition?
How many of you are using ADG for your competition brass?

I've been using Lapua almost since I started in LR, with the exception of a couple of attempts to use (heavily sorted/culled) Winchester *way* back when...

...just cracked open a new case of 1000 pcs of Lapua Palma brass I had squirreled away. That should last me a couple seasons

After that, who knows?

It's great to see more and more options, particularly quality domestic products... but it's pretty dang tough to go wrong with Lapua.

As alternatives to Lapua brass, Alpha Munitions, Peterson, and ADG brass are reputed to be of very high quality and would be good substitutes to try. Are they noticeably better than Lapua brass? That would be a very difficult question for someone else to answer definitively; you'd really want to compare them directly in your own hands. They are all very good quality brass, but I'm generally of the opinion that Lapua brass has always done everything I wanted, and so I have not been strongly motivated to switch to a different brand. However, it's not like you'd be going wrong with any of those manufacturers - far from it. Just be aware that with the potential differences in case volume, available choices in flash hole diameter, etc., optimized loads in Lapua brass may not translate directly to a different manufacturer's brass and would need to be re-worked.

I’ve used WW in the past, and I shot some Alpha for a while in ‘18 seemed to be very good brass.

Several yrs ago I started running Lapua small primer it works great, and lasts longer than large primer with match loads. It’s what I’ve run consistently for the last few yrs. Now that Capstone is a major supporter of the US team I don’t see any reason not to use Lapua.

All I have used in 308win is Lapua Palma and have a good stash of Nosler that is high quality but way over priced in my opinion.
I would personally have a hard time choosing anything but the Lapua brass given its quality and track record but have looked at some of the other options you listed.
What I have noticed most with the others although the reviews seem to be very positive availability seems to an issue.
So it really doesn't matter how good something is if you can't reliably acquire it when you need it.
Maybe that has changed since I last looked at some of the other brands.

I might add that the set I got 24 firings on are large primers. I feel that Lapua is extremely tough and consistent. That does not preclude me from looking for something better.
So far haven't found anything that will cause me to switch.
