Great info thanks mate, hope all is wellHi Danny,
I'm in the opposite boat to you mate - I've been running ADG 7SAUM brass in a wildcat variant, 40 degree shoulder, sidewalls blown out more, shoulder pushed back creating a longer neck. Similar to a 7SS I would say.
The ADG 7SAUM brass is smaller than Norma brass at the .200 line. The ADG comes in around .5445. Norma comes in a bit fatter...I think it is arguable that the ADG brass is undergoing a bit more expansion in my chamber as my reamer at the .200 line is .5522, as some people reported the ADG would click at .551 more typical chambers.
Primer pockets hold up ok...but a magnum being a magnum, primer pocket life to me is average. Hope this helps mate.
I don’t shoot competitions but I do shoot 7 saum with ADG brass.Hi Shooters,
I shoot F-Open using a 7SAUM and 180-184 berger hybrids at 800-1000yds, 2880fps-2920fps
I have always used Norma 7saum brass, I am interested in trying some ADG 7Saum brass and interested in shooters feedback on Norma Vs ADG in 7SAUM brass.
Thankyou
Dan
Thanks for the info, Sounds good to meI don’t shoot competitions but I do shoot 7 saum with ADG brass.
No complaints and it’s giving me excellent life and results.
I just resized some recently for its 23rd loading in its second barrel.
Mainly shooting 183smk at 2910 and 190 Berger’s at 2880.
I tend to avoid Norma brass, it never lasts very long for me in various cartridges.
I had the same experience when I was running a 7SAUM.The Norma 300 SAUM brass is a lot tougher than the Norma 7 SAUM brass. I know before ADG started making it a lot of people were buying the Norma 300 SAUM brass and necking it down to 7 SAUM because it held up a lot better.
