308 to 6.5

I am wanting to build a 6.5 Grendel bolt action/left hand, can a 308 bolt face become a 6.5 or am i headed in the wrong direction.

You could have a bushing installed in the bolt face possibly. Check the rim diameter of both rounds and do the math to see what the dimensions would need to be. Solder in place with brownells 40-44 low temp solder. Machine work and done

Thanks I finally got conformation its a 6PPC bolt face, now thinking over just a bolt and swap barrels on another rig , or just buy a left hand action in 6 ppc and build another 6.5 Grendel Bolt Action
