I use both large and small primer brass bolt has been bushed small hole and pin can’t remember the size
Same load same brand brass and only the small primer loads will split the primer
1in8 shots i use fed 205 and fed 210
Does anyone make small primer's with thicker cups

Yes, there are several that do. This should help you:

Switched to the Rem 7-1/2's about four years ago . Never looked back . Consistent for velocities across the string , and S/D as well .

Small primer issues with a 308 suggests other underlying variables. Please keep an open mind and watch for other factors.

If you want to stick with Federal, use a 205MAR, same mixture as a 205M, but a thicker cup. My go to for small rifle is CCI 450s, if I can't get the results I want with them, then I'll try 7 1/2s or 205MARs. I only use regular 205Ms, if I have no intention of getting close to or over 60k psi.
