308 out to mile gun recommendations

Looking for gun and mfg recommendations for a 308 caliber to shoot a mile

well, i would recommend at least 28" barrel with a 10" twist. .300 wsm throated for 210 bergers would work nicely

What are you going to shoot at at 1 mile? There are a lot of rounds out there that would do alot better job at 1 mile than the 308. The 308 is a good round, just not designed to shoot a mile at targets or game.

300 Rum with 240 SMK's..........maybe.

338 Rum with 300 SMK's....definitely....and will reach further than a mile....accurately.
