308 max velocities

Just wondering, with a 28 inch barrel what is the max velocity i can expect. I do appreciate it will be dependant on bullet weight and powder charge. Say sierra 155 or 180 grain match kings. More of a what if question.

Alliant Reloader 17 at 48grns should give around 2900fps at 49307PSI

a good friend of mine is getting 2660fps with a 208gn A-max out of his 28 inch 1:10 barrel.and he loves to shoot the 208gn bullet.
