.308 Magazine question

Will the 6.5x47 feed Ok from a box magazine designed for the .308? I am specifically using a Savage center feed blind magazine.

All you can do is try it. My bet is it works good but you may have to tweak the lips a little and if you do buy the magazine forming pliers from brownells.
