Will a 260 improved or a 7mm-08 improved type s sizing die work for a 25-08 improved by simply changing the bushing to be caliber correct for the 25 caliber neck? I guess it’s a dumb question unless you don’t know. I’m getting conflicting answers.
Thanks.

I would think so.

I use a 223 bushing die to load 20 Practical, 223 and 6x45 just changing out bushings and expander balls. The 20P needs a different decapping stem.

I also use a 204 Ruger bushing die, to load 22-204, 6mm-204 and 25-204. Again I had to change out the smaller 204 stem for the latter stem for 224, 243 and 257 expanders.

As long as the bodies are the same you should be good to go.
