I'm debating about re barreling my 22-250AI savage model 11 in the summer months to a back up rifle for F T/R. My questions are what twist would stabilize a 208 A-Max in a 30" tube. I see a lot of pre-fits come with a 12 twist but not sure if that will stabilize the 208. Other bullets I would consider would be the 175+ class.

I've shot the 208 with an 11 twist, but I agree with XTR, 10 is better.
