Yes, I'm sure that a fellow UK BR shooter swaps 30BR and 6PPC barrels on a Lawton action. I'm just about to email him to ask that very question as it would suit me muchly to be able to use a Lawton action rifle I already have with the 0.473" bolt-face for a proposed 6mmARC future build (PPC/Grendel case-head).

I'm using a .308 boltface with a M16 extractor installed by Carlsbad with my 6mm ARC, was previously a 6.5 Grendel. Works Great
