.308 Berger Bullets Most Accurate?

the 155 might be slightly more accurate and faster at 300 or 600 yds, but the heavy, will have more knock down power in both cases. Thanks to all who commented, but I've made my decision, and my barrel has done most of that for me, the 190gn Hornady BTHP is the most accurate to both distances and most energy at target, and seated at the lands, at only 2640fps.

PS, group at 300yds 5 shot, 1.5". 600 yds 2.24" 5 shot.

Anyone share their findings with the berger 215g Hybrid for FTR in 308 with 32in barrel, I read this bullet tad harder to tune than the lighter 200g-210g bergers but is their any other reason why they doint seem as popular for FTR as the 200g hybrid and 210g BT LR bullets appart from availability.

You're right, Don. They make a 195, 208 and 225, at the heavy end of caliber .30.

Look back 25 years ago, I have surplus from then, they stopped making it then, but I still had 400. You are right though they don't make it any more.

Depend on distance. I personally prefer 185 LRBT out of my 24" barrel with twist 10".

190's are as light as I go with any 30 cal. I gotta say weather it's 100 yards on a deer or 1000 yards on a deer or 1400 yards on a ground hog they can handle the business at any of those distances well. Might give up a pinch short to the light's and a pinch short on the long to the heavies but one of the best all around weights for what I do.
