.308 Basic question from Chile

Hello Friends, Im a benchrest beginner from Chile, and I can Only get from the stores, the Remington police, cz 550 laminated or the Ruger M77 Mark II Target Grey® Target, all us1200 )forget custom rifles or barrels. Due the regulations, reload is impossible, and I can only get the rem and win match ammo.
Can you advise me which one buy???

I have a CZ 550 lam. and it has been the best factory rifle I got. The set trigger works great and you can tone the normal trigger to about 16oz`s. The stock is the thing I think the CZ is the best choice for you, it as a wide forearm and is heavy enough to help with recoil. There barels are good to. They also come with a decelerater pad so it won`t punch as hard.

I'm a big fan of the Rem 700 for precision shooting. Good basic rifle that generally performs very well. Drawbacks include: rough trigger that needs adjustment and often rough bores. The factory barrels are usually very accurate, but often rough, and foul fairly easily.

Remington factory match ammo is very good. I haven't tried Winchester match .308 ammo in quite a while as I ran into some problems shooting it in the heat. Overpressure, led to some very heavy bolt lift. That was a long time ago, and I hope the situation has changed. I've had excellent results with Federal factory match ammo for the .308, but it may not be available in Chile.
