308 Baer and 230 hybrids

I have been shooting the 185 VLDs with good success and was wanting to try the 230 grain hybrids for the long range. Has anyone tried RL25 or RL22 with this bullet?

I use RL 25/210 VLD in all of my 300 WBY's except one....A Spencer BBL I use on my LG for LR deer sticking. In that tube it is retumbo.....but it looks like the 300 WBY/230 H /Retubo will be a KILLER combo if my limmited testing is any indication....thinking my match tubes with RL 25 will love em too!!

Hey friend, do you have a 1-10" twist for those big bad 230s?

Didn't you tell me you shot a 6.375" group at 1400 yards with the 185 VLDs, on your last outing? What more can a guy ask for

I finally got back out to test the 230 Hybrid and RL25. The velocity was 3001 fps with a spread of 8. Had a 9" group @ 1000 and a 26" @ 1mile. It does not take much of a breeze to open up your group. The 185 VLDs were all over the place @ 1 mile.
