Sounds like the barrel is one of the few dogs out there and I suspect he wouldve spun that barrel out by now.

Have you tried setting aside the cases that drop out? If you do that and it keeps happening then it’s something else, but if it gets less and less frequent as you set aside the brass that dropped the shots, then you have a solution.

New barrel is shooting great, shot a clean in a National match the other week with highest V/X count, Rod summed it up. hummers and Bummers lol same action same primers cases etc.

This might be a stupid question, but it's hard for me to find WSM guys. But would something like Sta-ball HD do anything good for you if you wanted to stay double base, maybe trying a spherical with magnum primers would do it instead of extruded with a standard.

I ask that because I always see staball hd on the shelf and it seems a likely candidate but I can't find any load data for it
