300MP, load data?

A few years back when powders were in short supply and I was nearly out of H110, I bought some 300MP. Alliant's site has some data, but not much. Does anyone have any additional data or personal experience with it?

Any particular caliber your looking for? I just started working up loads with Nosler 110 Varmagedon for my 300 BO and am very impressed. I wish Quickload had data for it.

I use 300MP in 22 K-Hornet and 300BLK with good results, like it a lot more than Lil'Gun. Something you really have to be cautious of with 300MP is static electricity. This powder is so fine that it takes hardly any charge to make it stick to the insides of your powder thrower. I did a major graphite treatment of my measure and pretty much got rid of the static electricity problem, but still feel like I have to keep an eye on it. I have no experience with the big pistol calibers you are shooting so can't help with loads, just wanted to caution you about the static electricity problem which could lead to inconsistent powder charges, possibly some overcharges.

I have some as well. Load data is sparse. I got it for my revolver calibers but haven't really used it since nearly all my revolvers are loaded with cast bullets.

I agree with everything SmokinJoe said. It is the finest powder I've ever tried and didn't meter well in my Dillon or Hornady powder measures. I tightened the tolerance on my Dillon but it is so fine it still didn't work as smooth as I'd like and would jam up or stick occasionally. I did the same with a Lee Pro Autodisc but haven't had time to see if it works any better. It meters well in my Redding BR3 though.

You might want to look at the S&W or Ruger forums for handgun specific data. I found the info for my 300BLK on the 300BLK forum.

Good information on using in a powder measure. I am not sure it is worth the trouble.

I just happened to have a Harrell's Schutzen measure and it works good in that, static being the only problem I have had.
