.300 Win Mag & QLOAD

Guys , would appreciate the advice of QL users , my buddy wants me to run QL for his .300 W Mag , a cartridge I don't shoot. QL has 4 options of the .300W to choose from in the cartridge list.
Which one do I run ? BTW , I am just getting my head around QL so forgive the novice question.

Mike.

So I would select "@" as my buddies cases are RWS and not listed and input the h2o content ? Never occurred to me that the letters referred to case brands, thanks for the heads up Guys.

Mike.

It will work even better if you have 10 or so over the chrono and can adjust burn rate to match what you're actually seeing.
With that, case capacity and a little other info you can get some pretty valid info.
Here are a few QL videos that may help

W = Wichester brass
F = Federal F.C. brass
N = Norma brass
R - either Remington or rws but can't confirm cause I do t have those cases to compare the H2o too.

If your friend is not using one of those cases....
Tell him to take a fired case with the old primer still in it or a resized case and prime it with a spent primer and check the H2o capacity.

RWS cases are usually heavier than other commercial brass, so I would choose 300winmag "R" (88.0gr H2o) in QL just to be safe.
