300 Ultra Mags @ 2090 yards @ the DOME

The guys from Rocky River Range made their first visit to the Dasher DOME on Thursday. We shot from 100 out to 2090 yards. 6 PPC, 6 BR AI, 6.5 x 284, 338 Lapua Mag Impr., and two 300 Ultra Mags made an appearance.
After warming up on Ole Chuckie and the parrie dog Chico at 800 the guys decided to take the 300 Ultra Mags long. We boarded the Gator and made the mile trip to Rocky Top. The wind was as calm as I have ever seen it and the sunshine made splash very evident with the 215 Bergers. They shot at 2090 yards

That's pretty cool!

I shoot ELR occasionally too. My current load is Hornady 225's at 2935 fps out of a 30" 9 twist Krieger - 30-375R

Would you guys share your 300Rum loads please and how is the barrel life? I'm trying to decide if I should go with 300RUM.

Averaging 1500 and up in barrel life cooling between shots. All three of ours shoot warm loads so we just do normal work up to find each guns max. The 215 hybrids have really shot well for us. Troy

How about barrel lengths and fps with the 215's?

chamber it up and come shoot with us at rocky river. We only have 1500 from our concrete benches right now but will soon have a mile from the concrete benches and 2000 plus from wood benches.
