Has anyone heard of or done anything with 300 ackley improved. just wondering what ya think about them thanks

I think its also called a 30 hart but it might be made with weatherby brass. Or if your improving a 300 ultra I know its call a 300 edge. Hope this helps

Go to the website for The Original Pennsylvania 1000 Yard Benchrest Club and look at the equipment lists in the match results. I believe that there are a number of the 300's youar are interested in used there. They also list the gunsmiths who made the guns in case you need someone knowledgable to do a build.

Bobby hart does real well with the 30 hart and it is a blown out 300 weatherby case. I saw him shoot in excess of 700 yds with it and was told to shoot a rock and hit it dead center.
