if you compare the brass as far as quality goes where does it stand?i here it was designed for long range target shooting with big bc bullets ot to 1000 yards.is any one shooting one for hunting or target?how do you like it.i was just curioesd to hear thoughts.thank you for your time.

I've shot it for over 10 years now. Both hunting and 1K BR rifles. The brass is OK. Not as good as Lapua but it works. It wasn't designed for LR shooting. Like most things in the shooting world it came about out of necessity and convenience. RWS 8X68 was difficult to get at times. We used that in the 30BooBoo. The default case available at the time was the 375 Ruger case. My Hornady friends and I got reamers made and off we went. There's much more to the story over the last decade but it's out there, just do a search.
