300 PRC with Hornady 230 Gr A-Tips

I can't understand why that box ammo performed the way it did for you, as other people have already commented you need to get to the bottom of that before you start chasing loads.
How were you shooting it when you got those groups? Tripod?
Try taking it back to basics shooting off a bag if you can, if you use a bipod, I like to put a doubled over piece of corrugated cardboard under the legs to prevent it from skipping.. 300PRC has a decent amount of torque to it..
I would remove and remount that scope paying close attention to the manufacturers torque specs on the rings. Make sure they aren't riding up too close to the scope bell or turrets on either end, press the ring bases forward against the pic rail as you tighten them. Don't forget to cheque the torque of the rail and action screws as well.

I have yet to find a box of Hornady , or any brand for that matter shooting groups like that without some sort of issue aside from the ammo. The 212ELD-X Hunter in 300PRC shoots so well in my Bergara that the best I could do by handloading is to try and replicate it.. get a box of that stuff and see if it works any better for you, use it to work that out and fireform some brass in the process.

Picture is of the ELD-X Hunter box ammo @100 yards. W/Bergara Premiere HMR Pro. Harris Bipod. Winter conditions sighting in a NX8. Left Impact is 3 shots, right is another 3 shots group after scope adjustment.. give that stuff a try.300.jpg

Was any breakin of the barrel done? Have you cleaned it…. Copper fouling or anything off there?

Stock fit, action torque, scope mounting, etc are all things I d double check before sending lots of ammo ($$$$) downrange as others have mentioned.

Good luck
