300 PRC question

Nephew ordered a 300 PRC and called and asked if I knew where there was some brass or ammo. Checked around--nothing for brass and no ammo in town. Sooo, can the case be formed easily from something else besides 300/375 rem ultra mag? He has some reloading stuff, but no neck turner or anything like that.

It's not based on Ultra mag case. It's based on the 375 Ruger case.

I'll add there are several manufactures bring brass to market. I would put some on BO at several places and just be patient.

Thanks, told him to just BO some or go to gunbroker and just pay the price, if he wants to shoot it.
