What's your definition of "Thin" ? Just measured my new 300 PRC necks at .016. Most of my Lapua brass is between .015-.016 on all other cartridges when new. IMO, .014 is minimum and .017 maximum for me. Being at .016, it seems perfect. That's just me.

Saami chamber is .343. Loaded round was .3395. With Lapua brass. Not ideal neck clearance for big magnums IMO.

you would really have to mess up in a big way to ruin one of these. I’ve shot them in my 300 WM and WSM and I’ve pushed them harder than ever and still going strong.
