300 PRC Barnes 175 LRX?

I'm getting some prelim research done to help my son start loading for his new Browning X Bolt in 300PRC. He is wanting to run the Barnes 175gr LRX for now. New Lapua brass, Federal 215GM primers, and RL-26.

When I look at Barnes' load data, I see them showing a max charge of 78.5gr of RL-26 at 3.525"

When I plug those numbers into my QuickLoad, it looks like they are leaving A LOT of performance on the table. 55,000psi for the maximum load? I'm certain I'm missing something here and would really like some input.

I would slowly work up a ladder in 0.5gr increments past 78.5 until you get ejector marks and back off a grain of so from there and know it is your max charge.
