300 Norma Mag Brass

Myself and Alex Wheeler have been using the 338 Edge brass from ADG. I weight sorts the same as Lapua. In the 30 cases i weighed it was within 1.2 grains. That is very well for a 277.6 grain case. They come annealed and in a box. I ran some serious pressure to see where things landed when i first got the rifle. Primer pockets are good and i really like the brass. I am contemplating selling my 200 Norma & Saum brass and picking up ADG if it will be released soon.....

Bruno’s announced that they have Lapua brand 300 Norma Magnum brass for sale. It was in stock last night because I bought some.

I don't know how long it will be before I get my 300 Norma rifle but I did a quick search and Peterson's 6.5 Creedmoor are quite a bit less expensive than Lapua, they are available in small primer, and come in an ammo box. I am using Lapua now so I am going to get some Peterson and do a little comparing of my own.

This has been great news. I sure hope they are as good or better. I like doing business here at home!!! With the high cost of doing business here in the US, if a company can out compete and produce a better product, I am absolutely 100% behind them.

Stepping down from my stump now, have a great day. :D
Peterson is great brass but in 6.5 creedmore it is the heaviest. Lapua being lighter and norma the lightest. By a big margin. I stopped using small primer in 6.5 creedmore because even with magnum primers i could not use ball powders. Multiple hangfire's with multiple powders.

Bruno's was out of stock last night but was selling at $1.75/pc.

OTM as above was selling at $1.89/pc yesterday but has it in stock with a price increase to $2.14/pc. today.

I checked a few of the other major supplies but none show the .300 Norma Mag. in stock from Lapua.

Graf & Sons shows 300 Norma Mag Brass in stock at this time. - I ordered some 2 days ago. - Ryan with Pierce Had some Lapua brand 300 Norma Mag brass in stock but has now run out as it is no longer showing in stock. - Ben Preston @ Peterson told me a few weeks ago that Peterson Cartridge would be doing a run in Sept/Nov. Time frame so maybe what Graf & Son's has now is that run & could be limited.
I've also purchased a few boxes of Berger 300 NM ammo when it was on sale to get some of the brass. - Not an economical method but the bullets come with it which helps to some degree.
IMO Lapua as a company has "Blown" an opportunity with it's U.S. reloading consumers which I find idiotic - They provided Canada and government contracts and have paid little attention to probably one of their prime consumers. And they've not met delivery expectations that were communicated by some of their staff who were "in-chair" when they announced the product.
