I picked up a 300 win mag, to deer hunt with, I haven’t shot any magnums in 10 plus years and I no longer have the dies and all for the win mag so I’m starting from scratch. I have been seeing this Berger ammo and it has some good reviews seems to have decent brass even, I was thinking of buying 5-10 boxes to start with and not even load for the win mag since it’s strictly a hunting rifle for me. I just don’t wanna make a $400 ammo purchase and it turn out bad.
specifically I was looking at the 215 hybrid load in 300 win mag.
If anyone has tried it or has some feedback please I’d love to hear it.
my rifle is a Remington 700 CDL and has only had 50 rounds fired since new and it looks to be reasonably straight it’s also bedded into a HS stock so it oughta shoot well, it will be getting a Jewell trigger later next week as well.
