300 Jarrett Price Check

Have decided to re barrel my 300 Jarrett Beanfield Rifle to a 257 Weatherby. Because of this I need to sell all of my 300 supplies.. Ammo, Brass , Dies and Barrel

What would you consider a fair price for the following lot of supplies??

60 rounds of loaded ammo by Jarrett, Head stamped Jarrett 165 and 180 grain
270+/- pieces 300 Jarrett stamped brass
100 pieces of Remington 8 magnum resized for 300 Jarrett
300 Jarrett dies
300 Jarrett 26” barrel by Jarrett No muzzle break. Shot very little. Small smudges on the barrel when it was taken off. Take off a Remington action trued by Jarrett.

To caveat off of what butch said, there’s almost the same crowd between long range hunting and accurate shooter. You’re probably going to get the same answer.

This isn’t going to help much, but I would sell with the barrel. It should be a package to sweeten the deal, and encourage someone whos on the fence about moving to the 300 Jarrett. The only thing I know about him is that he is like the lazzeroni (spelling) guy. He makes cool cartridges and awesome rifles but it’s really for a niche crowd. If you can find that niche crowd the price would be pretty high. Selling here you would have to price it low to perk someone’s interest into messing around with a wild cat like that. You have two options find the right guy and sell at a premium or take a hit and sell to a guy who just wants to possibly tinker with new round.

I pointed out to him that his "blueprinted" receiver would have oversize threads. The buyer would have to address that problem.I don't think that he is trying to take advantage of anybody though.

Thank you for pointing out about the receiver. I did not know

Without the barrel would $600/$700 be a fair price?

60 rounds of loaded ammo by Jarrett, Head stamped Jarrett 165 and 180 grain-$40.00 per box of 10 box/ 6 boxes= $240
270+/- pieces 300 Jarrett stamped brass=$3.00ea=$810.00
100 pieces of Remington 8 magnum resized for 300 Jarrett $1.00ea = $300
300 Jarrett dies= $125
$1475 Paid/ $600/$700 sell??

I am pretty sure the purchaser could make some money on this. I just don't have the time to break them all down and sell as pieces. Again thoughts?

I wouldn’t go that low. $1100 sounds fair if you paid $1475 for it. If you found the right guy you could probably get full price.

Does jarrett have a following? Id join that forum and peddle it there. Most here can do it themselves or have it done new. Hard to get any premium money from guys that can do the work themselves. Just my opinion of seeing the lazzeroni/jarrett stuff sell over the years
