300 Blackout Loads

I load BR for 6.5 Creedmoor and also load for subsonic 300 Blackout. I plan to have a can for my 300AAC in a coulple of months from now and my question is this: I have a load that reliably cycles the action on my AR, but doesn't hold the bolt back after the last fired round. Will, with the addition of the can, the same load hold back the bolt?

In general a can creates more back pressure, so if that is whats needed to cause your bolt to hold open, then it very may well do it. But you will not know for sure until you try.

Most likely yes. The increase in back pressure is significant. As well as how dirty the gun gets.

I had a carbine gas 300 BLK that wouldn't run subs without a can, but did with them.
