300 Ackley necked to 7mm

I'm sure this has been done before I just don't know the name of it or where to start looking but I'm trying to find some information on the 300 Ackley based off the 375 H&H case necked to 7mm.

I don't know how much you will gain over a regular 7 STW. I am actually thinking of a 7-300 WBY, but the reason why is that I already have 500 prepped 300 WBY brass and a hat full of 300 WBY type "S" dies already on my shelf!!

If I was to want a "7" bigger than my SAUM I would have to go with a Dakota. I haven't played with one yet, Ernie Bishop seems to really like them though. I have seen a lot of good things he's wrote about that caliber.

Thanks, I'm not really looking to gain anything over the 7stw as it would probably be similar, just thinking in terms of being able to use the same dies as I have for a 300 Ackley and the availability of good RWS brass.

If you are going to go with the 300 Weatherby case,i recomend a reamer with an improved shoulder.it will get you close to STW performance.
I went with an STW 1-8 twist.
