Just an update on where we are with the project:
On it's first competitive outing at an IBS registered Hunter Benchrest match on Memorial Day weekend, Stan Ware steered one of the two existing WolfPups to a 200 yd. win with an impressive 249-7X. I was second at 100 with a 249-14X. In the 100-200 Grand Agg, Roy Oines took the win followed by Stan Ware in second and myself in 3rd. place. All in all, a decent debut for the Pup's first time out in public.
The following weekend found us at the Holmen Rod and Gun Club just a bit North of beautiful LaCrosse, Wisconsin for another IBS 100-200 Hunter Benchrest match. Still on it's best behavior,it didn't poop on anyones shoes or pee on any tires), one of the WolfPups won the 100, 200 and Grand Agg wood along with the High X award. The 100 yd. score was a 250-19X, the 200 was a 248-8x for a 100-200 Grand Agg score of 498-27X. BIB Bullet's Randy Robinett kept the pressure on the poor defenseless little WolfPup all day long with a 248-5X at the 200 and a 497-21X for second place in the 100-200 Grand Agg. Wisconsin hitter Brian Miller was 3rd.
Man...a big time bullet maker like Randy picking on a poor,'lil defenseless WolfPup... He should be ashamed of himself...
Take care and good shootin'. -Al
