30 HBR case forming and load suggestions?

I just picked up a Kodiak action and the seller sold me a 30 HBR chambered Krieger and a set of dies for an extra $200. I figure I could try it or re chamber to 308 or 30br. I need some advice on how to form the cases and loads. Is any one familiar with this round? Thanks in advance, Josh.

Well hey, thanks for the offer. I was told this was a shortened .308 version. I did some searching here and read about using 6x47, .300 Savage and .308 cases to make the 30HBR hence my head scratching. Anneal first? Trim first then size? Size first then trim? This will be my first experience with custom forming brass. I did get a few empties from my seller and I have a PM out to him on this. I'll measure what I have and see if it's close to the '47 dimensions. The die is not marked. Thanks, Josh

Update: I found this pic on the Internet. I took some measurements of the cases my seller sent. They are app. 1.65 from the head to the neck/shoulder and app. 1.54 at the shoulder/body juncture. I think what I have is the 30x51, though the barrel is marked 30HBR. I resized a case, using the die I got with the gun and it chambers perfectly.

Here's a pic of the sized case next to a 308 loaded round.

Seeing this, I grabbed an empty 308, lubed it up and ran it thru the die without the neck bushing and it formed easily. Now I only need to get some 30 cal mandrels so I can turn the necks down.
