i was looking at the tcu's, and seen that the 7 mm and even 6 mm tcu's were very accurate. i have a AR that needs some more money thrown at her, ans a 30.06 barrel that needs a new beginning. so, i though, see if there is a way to combine the 223 case and the heavy 30 cal bullets. walla... you get the 300 whisper. but... i can not use a suppressor in Illinois, so, id like to go supersonic, maybe using lighter bullets. ,150 grn)
anyways, i can not find any more info on this .30 silhouette, but am very interested in it. in the 5 sentence paragraph that i read, it said that rcbs was making dies for this round, don't know when, but know they did.) but i cant seem to find any info on this round's ballistics, and what type of bullets need what type of twist.
can anyone out there help? thanks, Brian.
