.30 IHMSA load data

Hello I just bought a Remington XP-100 in .30IHMSA an i'm looking for some load data. Is there any oldtime silhouette shooters out here with any hand load data for deer hunting. thanks

Are you sure it is 30 IHMSA? I shot 7 IHMSA and did pretty well at it. I still have my custom made Wichita in that caliber. I never heard of a 30 IHMSA though. The 7 is a basic .308 case, shortened 5/16" and necked down to 7mm. I shot that in unlimited and won literally hundreds of matches in SoCal with it.

I got load data for a 6.5 IHMSA out of Hogdons #26 manual the other day. I'll check on the 30.

always shot 30.0gr H4895 with any bullets from 150gr to 190gr with excellent results

History: When the ISMSA head stamped brass and rounds first came out they were shown in 25 th 35 IHMSA configuration.
When all the special head stamp brass ran out and was shot up , shooters still using the IHMSA case were told to just use 300 Savage brass and FL size them in their FL sizing dies.
Just use 300 Savage data.

helloguys thanks for all the info. I bought the Remington xp-100 .30 IHMsa at an estate sale the guy passed away. He had a set of RCBS dies 30mm IHMSA dies and about 200rds,mostly 300savage brass some 308 Remington and IHMSA brass. I'm trying to find some new .300SAVAGE brass. Hello Baddog0302 on the 300savage brass all I have to do is run it in my fl sizer die? What is trim length do you no? Is it the same as 1.860? an do I need to run large rifle br or magnum primers. Hello Kings X where can I get the hodgdon manuel 26, all I have is hodgdon 2015 annual manuel.

You need to be 71 years old and reloading for the last 50 to have that old manual around. Other option is book vendors at gun shows.
