30 cal expander mandrels

I have purchased several of the 21st Century mandrels in a wide variety of sizes for .223 Rem and .308 Win cases over the years. However, many of them see little use. For example, in .30 cal, the 0.3065" mandrel will give you very close to .002" neck tension (interference fit) in Lapua Palma brass sized first with a 0.305 bushing. A 0.3070" mandrel will give ~.0015 neck tension. Those two get by far the most use of my .30 cal mandrels, although I occasionally will use a 0.3110" mandrel to remove flat spots on fired necks caused by a strong ejector prior to fully prepping the cases. If you don't want to spend the money on an entire set that may contain several sizes you might not use very often, I'd start with some combination from within the three diameters I mentioned above (.3065", .3070", .3010").

FWIW - In addition to the 21st Century die, their mandrels will also fit in the Sinclair Gen II Expander die:
