30 BR bullets

Anyone shoot the Sierra 125 SMK in the 30BR? Wanting to build a 30 BR for informal fun and looking at the availability of bullets in the 100-125 range and price as well. I have been able to find these 125 SMK on a decent basis. I shoot them in a 308 and my Blackout.

Curious to see if anyone has tried them in a 30 BR?

I haven't yet but just started tinkering with the Sierra 110 hps and I haven't shot them much they are showing promise.

We have tried them and won't stabilize in a 1:18. Shot real well in a 1:17

1 in 17 was my thoughts. How did they group? I noticed the BIB bullets are no longer available for order in 30 cal according to their websight.

I have shot the sierra 110's in my 308 and they are very accurate. The 125smk should give me some advantage at 300 yards in the wind. That will be my max range. Mostly informal target and crows.. Crow sniper!

They grouped in the 1s and 2s but in cold weather with temp sensitive powder showed some instability

I haven't shot the 125 SMKs but I have shot the 125 Nosler BTs and they worked great. I have a 1-17 twist on mine.

I've shot quite a few. Good bullet. Suggest that you sort them by bearing surface and you'll be good to go.

I have 500 of them but haven't tried them yet maybe soon weather suppose to warm up thin wk.

I have a 1x18 twist and i have tyred the 125 gr ballistic tips they shot pretty good then i tyred some 125 gr TNT and they shot as good as the bib 112 When it warms up i am going to try the 125gr TNT at 300 and see what happens.The 125gr TNT are cheap also and you get 100per box instead of 50per box with the noslers
