30-8mm (308 Baer,30stw) Loads??

Just got a 30-8mm from a friend and was wondering what loads are out there that incorporate H1000 or 4831sc. I would like to use VLD 190-210s or 208 A-Max. Thanks.

Rem 700 action with 28" Obermeyer AMU contour.

Sorry, I can't help you with any 30-8mm loads using H1000 or 4831sc. However, I have successfully used a 30-8mm in 1000 yd IBS competition using R22.
Here is what I used:
30" Hart Barrel
Mark X Action
220 Sierra HPBT
74.2 gr R22
CCI Large BR Primers
Remington Cases
2,945 fps

Hello,
I thought I was alone with this one! Awesome wildcat caliber. I wanted more than a 300 Weatherby and 30-378 Wby wont safely work with a Remington action. I have been shooting one for Elk for over 15 years. I have a binder full of load data. Mine is built on a Remington 700 also with a lilja 27" stainless fluted barrel. It shoots 3/4 to one inch at 300 yards. I have to much info to post here. email me and I will forward you all I have.

What you are describing is basically a 300 Jarret 8mm mag necked down to 30 cal blown out and 30 degree shoulder. I short 87.5 grains of RE22 with a Sierra 155.5 grai Palma. Right at 3500fps. Don't know if this helps

Also Jarret lists 78 to 80 grains of Re22 or 80 to 82 grains of 7828 with 200 grain bullet. JVON

Thought the Jarrett was a 35 degree.

One of my In-laws had a reamer made about 20 years ago, which was a blown out 30x8MM with a 30 degree shoulder. They shot the smallest group ever out of their shop at 1 mile which was 10" witnessed by a few guys making bets on the accuracy. Not sure if it was 3 or 5, but most likely 5 cause all these guys were top notch BR shooters back in the day.

Don't have any data for ya, but I can ask next time I see them.
