30-40 Krag loads

I am planning on loading for my Krag. Plan on using 180-220gr jacketed bullets and I was hoping some of you guys might be able to share a few loads. This will be for hunting. It is an original rifle so I want to keep the pressure below 40k and velocity within reason. Thanks in advance.

I've been looking at building one in a single shot (probably in an 1885, maybe in a Ruger). I'd go to my Lymans manual and start there. The case capacities are roughly equal so you should be able to use the same powders that you'd use for a 308.

Looking back through my load journels I discovered two things, the first one is that I haven't loaded 30-40 in 20 years as I sold my 30-40 in 1994, secondly my old Springfield 1898 loved 35.0grs of IMR4895 with both 180 and 200gr bullets
