30-30 150gr Extreme Bullets?

Getting ready to load up some Extreme 150gr FP bullets for grandsons 30-30.
Any experience or where to look for load info?

I shot a lot of 150 plated with H335. 31 grains to 32 grains worked well for me. I know I might have been over their FPS “suggested limit” but I didn’t experience any problems.

I’ve shot a fair number of Berry’s equivalent, and my Marlin seems to like them just fine. I’ve loaded them with unique and 2400 for plinking loads, and have read that the plated bullet recommendation is to use the starting loads for normal jacketed load data or towards the higher end of cast load data.

Looking at my notes, the last load I used was a few grains under the hodgdon data starting load for imr 3031 to try to stay under 2000fps as Berry’s recommends. I got pretty good accuracy and the reduced recoil was nice. I did find out that load will not knock over rams reliably for metallic silhouette at 200 yards, fyi.

I did come across a plinking load using Unique, 8gr and another one using 748 28gr.

Yup! 3031 is THE powder for the 30-30, but I’m sitting on a lot of H335. When I saw it listed, I tried it and it shot well.
