can some one let me know in.000" measured with a ball anvil micromtere what 30-06 lapua brass measures. want to form .308 so i can tighten up a saami spec chamber . Thinking reformed nk wall will be more then .015 "

How is that going to help tighten up a 308 ? The 30-06 neck is the part you're going to cut off !

If your idea is to use 06 brass , resize and trim , try military 06 brass , it's thicker where you need it . It not as easy to get military 06 once fired brass as it use to be , but it'll give about .020 neck wall if not more . Depends on the make . A long time ago I did this and improvements were very disappointing .
I no longer worry about production necks , if the brass is equal in size and temper , all should be good .
