I'm retired and plan on staying that way.....LOL. This was a simple
custom one off which I prefer to do mostly if I have free time and
material on hand. As for the post about Delrin ?? I actually have it
in stock, and some with impregnated PTFE. I used it mainly for chain
sliders on the bikes and ATVs. I'd still prefer aluminum though for gun
work.

You don't have go wider in the front. Just do it on the back !!
I bolted on a 4" wide plate to ride the top of the ears and the
rudder still does it's job although suspended.....It's working
nicely with about 2 months of testing at match's. Butt stock
is of my own creation For the MDT Oryx chassis, along with
the mini squeeze pistol grip.....

Well, while were waiting on Rick, I think I'll change the ELF back
to a 4" front. It will be un-boltable just in case a club rule blows
back in another direction. Rod's going hate me but, I'm making a
4" top for the T-Rex also for this project. As it is , my rat holed
aluminum pile is getting thinner. Good thing I'm not buying it at
these current prices ???

When my Daughter visits again I can get some pics of the rails on the gun and the gun in the rest. The installment went well.......Hopefully, I can get to the range sometime this week. My tranny needs to be replaced and that is taking longer than I would like.

Well, waiting on Rick for his range test.....My changeover is about
finished. I made a removable 4" plate for the chassis 3" fore end
and made a 4" top for my T-Rex, and using Bald Eagle bag tension
sides. I do have them cranked in all the way to hold the assembly
in place, just for the pic. Rifle for it is still undergoing evolution.....
That's why I like chassis !! It's like playing with LEGO's.......LOL
