284win with 180 Hybrids & 4831sc , What's your powder charge??

Running 31.5" barrel and at 54gr 4831sc I'm only seeing 2775fps in 98 degree hot humid weather.

The charge is pretty hot but I'm curious what FPS others are getting with what kind of charge??

I may try some h4350 but I know most are getting 2850 fairly easy with 4831sc and its suppose to work great in the 284

Any load data would be helpful, thanks Mark

Why do you think the charge is hot?

Well guys my Chrono was off and has been giving me false readings . I went with 56 gr of 4831sc and got a few readings at 2900+ so stayed with it.

Shot a 5 shot group at 335 yrds a quarter would cover with terrible mirage so I'm going to say we are GTG.

Thanks for the replys

I got 2715 out of my 26-inch barrel with 54.0 grains of 4831SC. I got up to 2925 with a 52.5 grs. of RL17 but settled on 51.1 at 2825. Haven't tried H4350.

32" Brux 1x9 twist, 54.8gr 4831sc, Lapua necked up brass .001" neck tension, CCI BR primers, 180 hybrids jumped
2840fps

Thanks guys I settled on 56gr h4831sc, 180 hybrids in Lapua cases and CCI primer . Shade over 2900fps.

Here's the 5 shot group at 335yrds in bad mirage.
