284 Win or Shehane - OAL with Berger 180s?

Myself and a couple others are trying the 284 Shehane - we have a reamer and throater, so would appreciate info on what cartridge OAL we could use to base the throat depth on for a 180 Berger just touching the lands? Thanks for any help.

Mine is at 3.160 just touching the lands, but the base of 180s is just at the neck/shoulder junction, with the 168s just off, so throating to 3.200" would be into the lands and just off the donut area with 180s.

By the way, my reamer is .190 freeboe and 1.50 leade angle, so something around .210-.230 freebore would be the way to go if they are using 180s.

For my recent .284 build, I had PT&G grind a .313 X .220 reamer for lightly turned necks and Berger 180s. Dave Kiff told me some folks have gone out to .240 but I wanted a little room for throat erosion. I also sent the barrel to nitride last week.
