Shot my 284 win some today.. to me some calibers are just easier to load for and tune than others.. this is one of them.. its built off a savage long action with a 28 inch criterion bull barrel mounted in a orxy chassis.. gen 2 pst 5x25x50 vortex scope.. i put this all together one saturday and broke it in.. then developed a load for it the next day.. it shot bug holes for about a 100 rounds then i had to back off the charge about 4 tenths of a grain as it had sped up a little.. been shooting the same load ever since.. im shootig 184 berger hybrids in peterson cases at around 2830 mv. Fun gun to shoot for sure.. mild mannered and accurate.. gotta love that.. heres the gun and a 5 shot group at a 100 yards i shot a little bit ago..
