True that....but....you may also have greater recoil....depending.

it will be on a Stiller Tac 30 action bedded in a ST1000-F with a single shot follower bedded in the stock,,as long as an empty case will eject there will be no limit on over all loaded round length,,maybe not ideal but I cant afford 5-6 custom actions but with a call to my smith he can send me a barrel chambered and throated for anything that fits a .473 bolt face,,

I even considered a 12 twist 338 barrel to shoot the 250 OTM from a 338-06 AI case,,just to be different and would bet with the right freebore and 30 inch bbl it would get way out

but with Berger releasing the 6.5 130AR I may wait and see if they actually ever do the 7mm 195

My latest reamer to date is a 280AI based off the 30/06 case, same reasons as stated above, to be able to use Lapua brass. I used .188" freebore for the heavier bullets.

I wanted to use Lapua brass also so I had the reamer cut the same way and am very happy with it.
