284 Shehane Brass 284 win vs 6.5x284

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which case would be better for 284 Shehane? Lapua 6.5x284 OR 284 Win. I have tried both and don't see any difference in terms of accuracy or case life, but I haven't really kept any records on them. I noticed that Lapua has suspended 284 Win production today, so I may have to go to 6.5x284. I turn the necks for both.

you're right. I guess it's a mute point then.

Understand your concern, I shoot straight 284 for 1K. I have 189 cases in process now and another 200 virgin cases in reserve. I am hoping those will last at least 2-3 years of monthly matches. Hopefully they'll be back in production by then. But I'd sure like to have another 200 set aside......

Edit: found some, now have 500 in reserve
