284 Shehane at 600 yards this morning.

I made some 180 grain weight Bullets yesterday for my 284 Shehane and took them to 600 yards this morning to see how they would perform. The more I shoot this barrel the better I’m liking it.
Below are 2 five shot groups at 600 yards. The 2.0 group was the first them followed up by the group below it. Knowing this barrel if I had of shot 3-4 more foulers that 2” group would easily been below 2” and the other group would of been even smaller than it printed. Either way I’ll take both from a cartridge not intended for benchrest.

I love both my 284 Shehane's also. I just finished up my load testing this morning, after doing all my testing at 100 yds, load, seating and tuner and took it out to 600 yds. to verify 3 different load's. Shooting prone for F-Class because benchrest is different than the prone position and shot a 1.770- 5 shoot group, all from testing at 100 yds.
Those 284's can shoot! I know it can do better, due to not being able to pickup the 3/4" dot in my scope for a good aiming pt but that was not what the test was about. It was about verifying load testing at 100 yds.
