Al,
Is this a hunting rifle or a match rifle? I am not sure how the hybrids will perform as a hunting bullet. They are good in the wind as this weekend proved with gusts to 40mph at 1000 yards, Ben and Pat did well with them and I wasn't far behind.

That is why I am asking.... Al is a friend, he hunts and I believe he is building this on a Tikka action. I am not saying this won't work as a match rifle, I just don't think that is his intentions.

Scott-it a LR hunting rifle. It is my understanding 180 Hybrid hunting bullets aren't far behind. Maybe just a rumor, but I'm gearing up for it.

So I'll shoot the 180's when I play with you guys, and 168 VLD's for hunting. Dave told me the .188 freebore will be perfect for that intended purpose.

Besides, it doesn't bother me to see what the 180's do to hogs and Aoudad sheep. I'll be killing both of those again this winter...You'll be the first to know as soon as I stack up a few critters with them.
