I did this Test for .284 F/Class Rifles and Finding Primers Hard to Find .

5 Rounds Fired on each Primer .
Only Change Type of primer on my Given Load with CCIBR2 for the Result only !

Hope it is of some Help ?

some suggest that the primer test be done with a range of charge weights to give the primer a chance to find its own best node.....49.3, 49.5 , etc....whatever your charge was minus one grain and work up in .2 gr increments
I tested for my own use. If I was going to have to change Primer's .
At over $2.00 a shot ,that is what I am will to test ,till I run out of BR-2's

This was meant to give a Ball Park idea of just changing a Primer on Your Given Load .
I got the result as I just changed primer on my Given load.

I have done this with my last 4-5 barrels and it has worked for me and has held....but now I am actually doing primer test across range of charges to compare groups and chrony data. I have in the past loaded and got best node and charge etc and only thing I did was change primer and looked at target and chose smallest/best looking group and it has worked for me. I shoot all my tests at 600 yards so it is pretty easy to see the differences. This time I am doing a ladder test over 5 charges and am shooting three different primers for each charge weight. And will work up load after I decide on primer. And will see if it helps or holds any better than previous method

I think a lot of shooters leave something on the table if they don't try different primers in my opinion. It has always opened my eyes and turned what I thought was a good shooting load into even better

I shoot Fclass at 600/1000 yards. This is just my opinion and my personal experience
