284 neck clearance?

Just out of curiosity, how much neck clearance are y'all running on a straight 284 Win? I just started loading for mine. I'm running a .310 loaded round in a .313 chamber. Is it worth trying a little more? Thanks.

I personally like .004" - .005"

When I was running .003", even with a neck turn set up, it seemed like every so often I still had high shot flyers that a little more neck clearance solved.

With moly bullets I felt I could run with .003" without those issues but running dry I felt a little more neck clearance was a good thing for a more consistent bullet release.

With thight neck chambers I usually use .002. I have never had a problem, but if I were to hunt dangerious game I would go to more clearance.

I agree with Robert. In calibers 7mm and .30, I shoot with .004". Both my .284 Win and .284 Shehane have .313" necks and .309" loaded diameter.
