.284 & F-Class bullets/freebore?

I've been running a straight 284 this summer for F-Class at both 600 & 1000yds. Have a shorter barrel length and have been using 162 A-Max's with very good success although slower than I'd like due to the short barrel. Have two new 30" barrels that needed to be chambered and I'm torn at reamer options. I love the 162 A-Max and its performance / cost but am intrigued about having the reamer set for the 180 VLD's or Hybrids and even the 175SMK's. I don't believe there is a freebore length that would efficiently cover all these choices for my Lapua brass. Right now leaning on .316/.317 neck. Lapua lightly turned with a freebore to be determined. Might just have one barrel throated for the 180's and 175smk's and the other for my A-Max's which I have about 1000 of.
Comments/advice appreciated! Thanks in advance, Eric

If you have a one and a half degree throat angle and you are looking at having it throated well for the Sierra 175's and the Berger 180 gr Hybrids, I would suggest a free bore length of somewhere between .200" - .225" (I would tend toward .225" myself).

Get the standard .189" freebore, it will work for the 162 AMax and for the 180 Hybrids since the Hybrids have a shorter bearing surface and have to be seated further out due to their nose profile.
